Like many Road Safety and Traffic Engineers I have an interest in classic vehicles and back in January 2024 I acquired another Jaguar 420G affectionately known as (Ruby 2) by my family. She is a 1970 model and the 17th from last one to leave the Jaguar Browns Lane factory back in 1970. Recently she was subject to a repaint in her original colour scheme of Jaguar Imperial Maroon with a cinnamon leather interior. So it was a pleasure once again to support the Classic and Historic Vehicle Club on their Mendip Tour on the 19th May 2024 in support of The British Heart Foundation on a 95 mile tour around the Somerset Countryside. I can say I had a great day out in the sunshine and Ruby 2 performed beautifully!
